Get Involved: Upcoming Facilithon Volunteer Opportunities
The Minnesota State SkillsUSA competition will take place on March 27–28, and excitement is already building. We have 20 students pre-registered for the Facilithon event, highlighting growing interest in facility management among students.
Facilithon events rely on industry professionals who are passionate about supporting the future of FM. Whether you’re interested in learning more, volunteering, or providing financial support, your involvement can make a meaningful impact on students exploring careers in facility management.

Facilithon Inspires the Next Generation of FM
On Friday, February 27, the SkillUSA Wisconsin Regional conference brought together students eager to explore future career pathways. As part of the event, the Facilithon competition introduced students to career opportunities within the facility management profession.
A total of nine high school students participated in the Facilithon competition, gaining exposure to the skills and problem-solving that define successful facility managers. The Facilithon would not have been possible without the support of our volunteers: Peggy McCarthy, Pete Hillman, Allecia McDonald, Justine Pliska, and Laura Magnuson.
