The Executive committee is an elected volunteer position that supports our local MSP chapter of IFMA. These positions give you great experience and knowledge in Board Management. Treasurer and Secretary are 2-year terms while Vice President thru Past President is a 6-year term. You are elected in as vice president and then you serve as President and then Past President – each for a two-year term. It is recommended that you have served on an IFMA Committee for at least 1 year and preferable as a co-chair for at least a year to have IFMA MSP Board experience.

Description
Statements concerning behaviors, perceptions, and actions of all members that relate to ethical compliance while acting within all areas of IFMA. This document is a guideline and does not represent the entire breadth of what constitutes good conduct and ethical behavior.
Purpose
To clearly set expectations so individuals will know how to act ethically at all times. The code is designed to foster trust and mutual respect among those working in IFMA and the facility management profession.

In addition, both members and non-members will have provisions during event registration to opt out of specific elements contained within this policy.
How do we protect your information?
IFMA implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we use cookies?
Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘Edit Profile’ page.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
IFMA is in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
