About the Speaker:
After serving in the military as a sniper, Chris Jones moved on to finish his degree in psychology. He’s worked as a research assistant studying decision making and game theory, and in a hospital setting working in a clinical intensive care unit. While working in the hospital, Chris saw the importance of IT infrastructure and its power to make an impact in patient care by providing critical patient data in an efficient manner. This moved him to start work at HealthPartners as an application analyst and developer. Chris now works for a team that develops and maintains applications that are used in everything from Neurology to facility maintenance.
Mr. Rossman is Hennepin County’s Chief Human Resources Officer and sits on the executive team for the organization. He has been with Hennepin County for over 27 years serving in many capacities, most notably in his current Human Resources leadership role as well as the previous administrator for the nationally recognized regional medical examiner’s office owned and operated by Hennepin County. His success in the organization is a story that started from the ground up, beginning his career as a clerk typist in the Community Corrections Department. Through a strong desire to serve the public and the support of managers who understood the value of mentoring, he progressively worked his way up into supervisory and senior leadership positions across the organization. Michael’s philosophy is that if you support innovation, empower employees to take risks and find ways to spark curiosity by giving employees exposure to all parts of the business, you can build capable, dedicated leaders that support the county’s mission & vision. With this drive for excellence, Mr. Rossman is leading change at Hennepin County to build a talented, diverse and sustainable workforce of the future.
Rhonda’s favorite thing about architecture and interior design is the space. It’s why she’s built a career in facility information management within RSP’s i_SPACE team. Rhonda not only consults on facility management, she also is a facility manager within RSP Architects’ historic Grain Belt Brew House. This dual-hat experience provides her a keen insight into what her clients are going through, enabling her to better understand the obstacles that may stand in their way.
Because she understands both sides of the industry – consulting and facility management – Rhonda is an expert problem solver for clients such as HealthPartners and Hennepin County. A self-professed “geek” with an outgoing, sparkling personality, Rhonda makes facility information accessible, understandable and fun.

Late/Walk-In Registration & Cancellation Policy:
A $10 late/walk-in fee will be applied and charged for any member or non-member registration up to 5 days before the event date.
Written request for cancellations/refunds must be received 24 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made after the 24 hour deadline or day of the event will not be honored.
