Current Construction Trends, Changes,
Challenges and Building Costs
About the Program:
Join Greiner Construction for an engaging conversation on current construction trends, changes, challenges and building costs in our industry. They will share their knowledge and expertise in working on a variety of sectors and project types in the Twin Cities including Workplace, Healthcare, Historic, and growing real estate trends in adaptive reuse/building repurposing. The presenters will also provide comprehensive data including per sq. ft. cost breakdown by project size and current raw material pricing. Presenters are Mitch Weaver, EVP Operations and Spencer Finseth, Principal.
Agenda:
- Understand why clients and corporations in the Twin Cities are spending more per sq. ft. on their office space
- Understand the rise in construction costs. What’s causing pricing to increase in the Twin Cities and nationally?
- Understand the current labor shortage and how it will continue to plague the industry
- Understanding construction schedules. Why contractors need to be brought in earlier in the planning process?
