Please join our panel of speakers as they share examples how the new industry disruptor, Circular Economy, is impacting the Facilities Management industry. You will learn what circular economy is, if it can be measured, and the impact buildings, products, and services can have on the success of the Circular Economy.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS:
Dana Slade, CHMM, is the Director of Sustainability Programs for HealthPartners where he manages the sustainability programs and facilitates the enterprise sustainability steering committee. He also co-leads the organization’s green teams and sustainability working groups. Prior to HealthPartners, Dana worked in the environmental and compliance management field for over 20 years in the energy sector and has extensive experience in regulatory negotiations. Dana holds a Master’s Degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, a Bachelor Degree in medical microbiology from the University of New Hampshire, is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), and active in local, regional, and national sustainability groups.
Jon Smieja has a BS in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas and an MS and PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of California San Diego. After graduate school, Jon joined Steelcase Inc.’s Global Sustainability group as their Environmental Chemist and eventually moved into a role as a Leader in Sustainable Design and Development. He joined Andersen Windows as the Product Sustainability Manager in 2017, became the company’s Corporate Sustainability Manager in 2019, and is responsible for product lifecycle assessments, material ingredient transparency, and preparing Andersen for a future in circular economy.
Heidi Frasure has over 12 years of experience in the environmental industries, including time spent working as an Environmental Consultant and a Lead ISO Auditor. As an avid angler and outdoors enthusiast, Heidi is passionate about preserving our natural lands and ecosystems. Heidi currently works for Steelcase as a Sustainability Leader focused on minimizing waste and keeping materials at their highest value stream within operations.
