Beth Closner, Manager – Environment of Care
Beth Closner has over 30 years of facilities management experience representing Owners in the fields of healthcare, higher education, and municipal projects. At Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare she has oversight of Facilities, Construction & Project Management, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety& Emergency Management, and Security & Parking. Prior to joining Gillette in 2013, Beth served as a consultant for seven years on Gillette expansion projects in advanced imaging, surgery, PICU and inpatient units. Beth has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Idaho and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Dianne Pikula, Facilities Analyst – Environment of Care
Dianne Pikula has been in the design, construction, and facilities management fields for more than 20 years with experience in healthcare, education, and government facilities. As Facilities Analyst for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare she is responsible for tracking facilities metrics, process improvement, building standards, space inventory, masterplan coordination, and contracts. Dianne has a B.S. degree in Interior Design from the U of M, a post-grad Paralegal degree from Hamline University, and master’s program work in Intelligence Studies through APUS. She has worked both in the Twin Cities and the East Coast, and is a Brainerd native.
Warren Gavitt, Senior Supervisor – Environment of Care
Warren Gavitt joined Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in 2013. As a senior supervisor, he has responsibility for the day to day operations of Environmental Services, Maintenance, and Emergency Management. He has 8 years of health care facilities experience. Warren has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental & Public Health and an MBA with an emphasis in health care management, both from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Warren is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) through the American Hospital Association and an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.

The best way to get there is to park in the Regions Hospital West Ramp and take the elevators to the 4th floor/Parking Level D, which is the Gillette lobby. Cross the Skyway over University Ave to the 205 Building (where it says Rehabilitation Therapies in yellow); take the elevators to the Ground Floor, or lowest level; you’ll see the Wallace Cole Conference Rooms in yellow on the last map.
